Basic Command Prompt syntaxes

1. To make a pendrive Bootable:

step-1:
Run your command prompt in Run as Administrator mode.

step-2:
DISKPART

step-3:
list disk.

step-4:
select your pendrive disk no
Eg:
select disk 1

step-5:
clean

step-6:
create partition primary.

step-7:
select partition 1

step-8:
active

step-9:
format fs= ntfs quick

step10:
exit. Now dont close the command prompt window till you copy your OS in pendrive.


2. How to make a normal user as Administrator using command Prompt.

step-1:
Run your cmd as Run as administartor.

                  Or
if not able to do that then Restart PC and keep pressing F8 and select safe mode with command Prompt.

step-2:
net localgroup administrators {youraccountname} /add

Here {youraccountname} is your user account.

3. How to create a new User account in windows 7 using Cmd.

step-1:

Ans: netstat -a and the command prompt will return a list of computers that your computer is connected to.

Ans:Shutdown -m \\192.168.1. -r

8)How to get host name and IP from hostname
Ans:ping -a om-pc
